Brinx meets Marafae

Brinx sees Marafae.

Marafae's nose wriggles.

Brinx gazes into the water.

Marafae blinkblinks scenting old blood.

Marafae shivers, wings arustle.

Brinx closes his eyes.

Marafae watches the strange dark furre.

Brinx opens his eyes again, and looks up noticing he is being watched.

Marafae smiles softly and nods in an amiable fashion, showing she means no harm.

Marafae's tailtip twitches.

Brinx returns a weak smile and returns his gaze to the water.

Marafae murrs softly, shifting her attention to the skies.

Brinx looks up again, after hearing the noise, then looks back into the water.

Brinx sighs.

Marafae's ears swivel forward at the sigh.

Brinx sees Rottin Kid.

Brinx scratches the back his head.

Marafae's nose wriggles again.

Brinx sits down.

Marafae stifles a yawns and rummages in her satchel.

Marafae retrieves a small book from her satchel which she proceeds to sit back and read.

Brinx closes his eyes once more.

Brinx: .................

Marafae mutters strange arcane words beneath her breath as she reads.

Brinx opens his eyes and looks up, hearing the words.

Brinx sees Everr.

Marafae continues reading, seemingly unmindful that she is speaking aloud.

Brinx listens to the words as he looks into the sky.

Marafae: Graminae... Tropaeolum majus... Thapsus

Brinx looks back down.

Marafae: "Anisum... Umbelliferae

Brinx tilts his head.

Marafae: Carambola, Betula pendula

Marafae pauses, eyes narrow... and digs another book, this oner larger with a greenleather cover, from her satchel.

Marafae begins furiously scribbling notes into this book.

Brinx watches quietly.

Marafae mutters, "Sacharum, sacharum, sacharum."

Marafae tailswishes and wingflutters.

Marafae grins viciously.

Marafae returns to reading the first book.

Brinx continues to watch.

Marafae's tailtip twitches.

Brinx looks back into the water with another sigh.

Marafae's ears swivel back and she glances up silently with a look of slight interest and concern.

Brinx dips his paw into the water.

Marafae watches.

Brinx takes his paw out of the water, and looks at it.

Marafae blinks, holding very still, still watching.

Brinx lowers his paw noticing he is being watched again.

Marafae erfs.

Marafae looks apologetic and goes back to her books.

Marafae tailswishes nervously.

Brinx sees Treek.

Brinx: oh i'm sorry

Marafae blinks and looks up again.

Marafae: Sorry?

Marafae mews?

Brinx: oh, nevermind...

Brinx: i didnt mean to make you feel uncomfortable or anything...

Brinx sees Urataur.

Marafae hmns. "I apologise. I did not mean to disturb ye. 'Tis just that ye seem to have somat on yer mind... "

Marafae murrs.

Brinx: yeah, i do...

Brinx sees Kaysa.

Marafae: I have a rabbits gift for listening... if ye care to speak...

Marafae shrugs.

Marafae: I try to help where I may.

Brinx: naw, i do not wish to make others worry over my problems

Marafae smiles and nods. "Indeed... a noble wish (or lack there of) though sometimes, it helps... the offer stands, but I shall not press ye."

Brinx: not much can be helped by speaking of the matter.

Brinx: tell me...

Brinx: do you happen to know a Polyphemus?

Marafae hmns.

Marafae: Nae... regretfully, I'm a bit of a recluse normally, so I don't know as many as I might...

Marafae: If I were more socially inclined.

Brinx: ok, thanx anyway

Marafae nods.

Marafae pauses for a moment, then returns to her books.

Marafae frowns and glances at the sky.

Marafae puts her books away and stretches her wings.

Marafae: It is time for me to depart. Good Luck with your worries Sir.

Brinx: thank you, bye

Brinx sees Falloon.

Brinx sees Lassa.

Brinx opens his eyes.

Brinx: oh hello

Devon Aidendale: Has anything of note happened today?

Brinx: nope, i was just about to go see a friend of mine

Devon Aidendale: I think she may be coming here...

Brinx sees Tolomeo.

Devon Aidendale: Hmm. She now suggests her dream.

Devon Aidendale: Do you know where that is?

Brinx: yes
